These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Celense, Inc. (“Celense,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, mobile applications, in-car device, and legal platform (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

Not a Law Firm; Not Legal Advice

Celense is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The Celense platform connects subscribers with independent, licensed attorneys. The information provided by the Celense device — including rights guidance and interaction scripts — is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

The attorneys accessible through the Celense platform are independent legal professionals who maintain their own attorney-client relationships. Celense is not responsible for the advice, actions, or outcomes of the attorneys you may retain through our platform.

Celense does not guarantee any legal outcome. Results from legal representation vary by case, jurisdiction, and circumstances.

Subscription and Billing

• Celense Services are offered on a subscription basis with plans described on our pricing page
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• The in-car device included with certain plans is provided on a lease basis and must be returned upon cancellation
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy, available upon request
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice to subscribers

Device Use and Evidence

• The Celense in-car device may only be used in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
• You are responsible for ensuring device use complies with recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
• Evidence recordings are your property; Celense stores and transmits them on your behalf
• Celense does not warrant that evidence recordings will be admissible in any legal proceeding
• Tampering with the device or its firmware voids your warranty and may violate applicable law

User Rights and Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• You may not attempt to interfere with the integrity of the platform or evidence chain
• You grant Celense a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Services

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CELENSE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CELENSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
